  • "Do you charge for information you provide?"

    Yes and no. We often provide government, students and charitable aid organizations with assistance free of charge. All commercial requests are processed on a fee for service, publication cost or flat database charge basis.

  • "But we are very small business and can't pay very much. Can you do me big favour? ....."

    Be realistic in your expectations and demands. We will not waste our valuable time undertaking your research for nothing. However, we know we are competitive and can provide you value for the money you may pay for the information. If we have the answers close at hand we will provide them if not commercially or government sensitive. We will not cheat or charge exhorbitant fees. Please also remember that SIRA has invested considerable time, resources and money into establishing the databases, publications, project basis and staff to meet your information requirements. We know that no other organization has the focus on the industries we deal with in the Asia-Pacific region. That is why you have come to us as well.

    SIRA has been operating for 10 years with no advertising, just client referrals and now this internet site. Few market consultant organisations last this time period unless they are the best at what they do.

    Although we have staff from leading regional government organizations and also provide considerable base information to regional authroties, SIRA is a private research company.

    Yes. Our CEO undertakes interviews, although SIRA will no longer provide editorial due to overwhelming demand. 5 minute media interviews or email requests are facilitated. Also please check SIRA's media releases.


  • "Are you prepared for Y2K ?"

    We have fully checked our systems. Now like everyone else we are reliant that the electricity, telecommunication, airline, etc organisations have done their part. We will soon see!

  • "Do you accept sub-contract consultant projects ?"

    Yes, many large and small accountancy, stock brokerage and banking group consultants seek SIRA input for their client briefing regarding Asia-Pacific chemicals, plastics and packaging market data. We get this work because we are price competitive and usually the only reliable source of such regional data.
